Pixel fractional skin resurfacing repairs scars, sun damage, and particularly effective on acne, chicken pox scars and blemishes.
It is very similar to Fraxel except that it is not colour sensitive.
Aesthetica can offer you nonsurgical facial rejuvenation with very pleasing results from tailored combination or standalone treatments in Melbourne.
This treatment employs the same fractional resurfacing approach as Fraxel and other similar devices, however our system is colour blind and as such lowers the risk of hyper pigmentation. The use of radio frequency is a breakthrough treatment for Pixel fractional skin resurfacing. You’ll love the advantages this revolutionary technology gives you over existing treatments as the Pixel fractional skin resurfacing only targets small ‘pinpoints’ of your skin, so your skin heals faster.
Aesthetica was the original worldwide beta development site for this technology outside Israel. We have treated hundreds of patients with successful outcomes. The Pixel fractional skin resurfacing treatment has a unique approach to repairing, aged, sun damaged and scarred skin – Pixel by Pixel, Spot by Spot… Only Pixel RF, unlike Fraxel, is truly colour blind, meaning that it can treat all skin types without the danger of hyper pigmentation.
With today’s emphasis on active, healthy lifestyles, most men and women feel a lot younger than they look.
Pixel fractional skin resurfacing is a revolutionary, new aesthetic treatment based on Pixel Radio Frequency. It provides a fresh chance to turn back the clock on the visible signs of ageing.
Pixel fractional skin resurfacing treatment was developed by Alma Lasers in Israel; a world leader in Light, Laser and Radio Frequency based medical devices.
It works well on most conditions that present in the skin. Treatment indications include: skin resurfacing; treatment of wrinkles around the eyes; and treatment of pigmented lesions, such as age spots, sun spots, and melasma and treatment of scars resulting from acne, chicken pox, surgery, or trauma.
After Pixel fractional skin resurfacing, your skin is generally rejuvenated, feeling plumper and smoother. Your pore size is also usually smaller.
How does RF Pixel fractional skin resurfacing work?
To help you appreciate the benefits of RF Pixel fractional skin resurfacing treatment – think of a computer image in need of retouching or colour balance. Just as a damaged image can be restored one area at a time, pixel by pixel, the RF Pixel improves your appearance by affecting only a fraction of your skin at a time with thousands of microscopic RF Pixel spots. It’s like photoshop editing software for your face!
Aesthetica RF Pixel fractional resurfacing treatment restores a more youthful look by helping to reverse the appearance of ageing, acne scarring and sun damage.
As experts on skin ageing, we are qualified to employ a variety of both corrective and preventive techniques to keep your skin healthy and younger looking.
Although the ageing of our skin is a complex biological process,
there are two main causes:
Chronological – the effect of time on our bodies.
Photoageing – the effect of the sun’s harmful rays.
In your 30’s, wrinkles and age spots may begin to appear. Your skin may seem less radiant and may show signs of discoloration.
In your 40’s, the collagen and elastin support network begins to break down. Lines and wrinkles become more prominent as your skin becomes dryer. The blood flow begins to slow down, leaving your skin with less of a blush.
Once in your 50’s, new cell production decreases. Your skin retains less water, which increases wrinkle formation. At the same time the underlying fat cells in your face shrink.
Other benefits with combined RF Therapies.
This unique ’fractionated’ approach is a major step forward in providing significant cosmetic results with minimal downtime, especially when used in conjunction with the other unique Aesthetica RF treatments for skin tightening, re-contouring and rejuvenating your skin.
This combined technology embraces multiple RF therapy that cannot be achieved with other light based treatments. This advanced treatment is the first cosmetic RF device to provide an effective, gradual procedure that creates new healthy tissue by stimulating the body to naturally repair ageing and photo damaged skin without significant risks or recovery time.
How long does Pixel fractional resurfacing treatment take?
RF Pixel fractional resurfacing treatment can be performed, in most cases with topical anaesthesia. Treatment takes about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area(s) being treated.
Because the treatment does not “ablate” or remove the outer skin layer, you can resume routine activities right after treatment. Swelling is minimal and generally resolves on the same day. The skin will have a pinkish tone for 2 to 3 days.
For optimal improvement, a course of 3 to 5 treatments 2 to 4 weeks apart has been shown to be most effective. The time between treatments varies from patient to patient due to healing. This is based on each individuals’ healing process and the depth of treatment. Results are both immediate and progressive, with noticeable, beneficial effects accumulating over 1 to 3 months.
Aesthetica RF Pixel fractional skin resurfacing is a proven treatment particularly for acne scarring.
We recommend a planned course of treatments for the best results.
After your course of treatments, we recommend an Aesthetica maintenance treatment every 3-6 months, combined with the most suitable take home skin care range for your skin.
