At Aesthetica our doctors and trained nurses are available to consult and recommend the most appropriate filler or wrinkle treatment to suit your features and desired look. Your treatment is performed either by a doctor or a fully trained nurse, under the supervision of an Aesthetica doctor.
All treatments are prescription based.
Due to restriction on advertising Schedule 4 products in Australia as imposed by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) we cannot name the well known brands, However, Aesthetic doctors can provide you with full and detailed product information at your consultation. Aesthetica treatments are as follows.
Collagen Regeneration
Acts to supplement the skin's lost collagen filling out lines or furrows to give you younger, softer skin. This regeneration can be acheived by stimulation with radio frequency devices such as Thermage or by other non surgical methods.
Aesthetica introduces the amazing new THERMAGE system for collagen regeneration, skin tightening and contouring of the face neck and body. Consultations are now available, the treatments are fast, painless and continue to improve your skin condition for years to come. Fillers treatments
The full range of cosmetic filler treatments are offered at Aesthetica, including the latest product release Juvederm. The beauty of these products is they do not require allergy testing thus making them a quicker solution. At The Aesthetica we are licensed to use all three popular products. This enables us to provide the best alternatives to suit each patient.
All of the most popular products are also suitable for creating fuller features, most notably lips and to eliminate wrinkles and depressions. Unfortunately, the effect is not permanent, with the product lasting anywhere from several days to eighteen months depending on how fast your body absorbs it.
Permanent fillers
Other more permanent fillers have been released on the market. We are currently using these products and can recommend their use for certain applications.
Recovery After Filler and wrinkle treatment
What should you expect after the treatment?
During the first 24-48 hours after treatment you may experience redness, swelling and tenderness in the treated areas. These reactions are normal and resolve quickly and spontaneously. In this period it is advisable not to use cosmetics, moisturisers, products containing AHAs, BHAs, or Retinoid gels or creams.
Apply a cool compress to the treated areas to relieve swelling and possible bruising. Avoid strenuous exercise, drinking alcohol and exposure to extremes of hot and cold as it opens up blood vessels and may increase bruising or swelling. It is not advisable to have facials, facial waxing or laser treatments for 10-14 days after injection. Occasionally when the swelling subsides you may feel or see lumps that can be smoothed out by massaging gently with clean fingers.
The world's most popular anti wrinkle treatment
Each time we smile or frown we create lines in our face. These are often known as frown lines or crows feet. With technology we can now reverse the march of time by injecting this well known product into the affected area. This acts to relax the muscles, making them unable to move to the degree they normally do.
The result is a smoother skin less prone to wrinkling and furrowing. Again the effect can last anywhere from a few days to many months depending on your body's reaction to the product.
This product has also been effective in reducing patient's perspiration problems, with their underarms, palms of their hands and even foreheads. In addition we have found that the products when injected into the patient's forehead have not only caused less wrinkling, but also assisted in controlling painful migraines and headaches.
Recovery after Treatment
What should you expect after the treatment?
You will not experience any painful side effects. You should attempt to relax or not overuse the treated area immediately and for at least 12 hours after treatment. It is advisable not to massage the face for 24 hours after treatment. The effects of the world's most popular anti wrinkle treatment is not immediate. You may see a result in three days but full effect will not be achieved for up to 14 days.
