Options for vaginal tightening
Non surgical vaginal tightening – IntimaLase
IntimaLase from Intralase is designed to non surgically tighten and rejuvenate the vaginal wall using gentle laser pulses. The benefit of Intimalase is that there is no need for any anaesthetic or sedation, no cutting or bleeding and most of all no downtime. Many patients say there is no discomfort – just a slightly warm sensation.
The heating that is felt momentarily is caused by the laser pulse heating the collagen in the vaginal wall causing contraction. The fibres become shorter and thicken causing the vaginal wall to tighten and become more elastic.
An IntimaLase treatment offers
- Tightening the vagina and rejuvenates natural flexibility
- Greater sexual pleasure and desire.
- Increase quantity and quality of orgasms achieved during intimacy
- Also treats symptoms of incontinence.
- As IntimaLase does not require cutting of the vaginal wall, represents a safer and faster solution that avoids the complications present with other vaginal tightening methods.
Number of treatments
Usually two treatments are recommended. It is not necessary to have any special pre-op preparation or post-op precautions.
Patients can immediately return to their normal everyday activities. However, strenuous activity and sexual activity should be avoided for 2 weeks after your treatment.
Cost of Intimalase
Each treatment cost is $1,100.00
Clinical results as reported by the IntimaLase show
95% assessed the change of their vaginal tightness as strongly or moderately improved after IntimaLase treatment.
Average shrinkage of vaginal canal after IntimaLase treatment was 17%.
Level of patient satisfaction (97%).
Surgical Vaginoplasty Procedure
A vaginoplasty at Aesthetica aims reduce the diameter of the vaginal opening, tighten the full length of the vagina and as necessary remove excess skin. The result is a thinner vaginal canal and tighter vaginal muscles.
The vaginal tightening is done in the entire length of the vagina and not merely the opening few centimetres.
To create a new designer vagina can take around 3 hours.
The vaginoplasty is generally done with a general anaesthetic.
As with all surgical procedures recovery is very personal. We recommend rest for 3-5 days and return to sport and physical activity in 4-6 weeks. You will have to wait more or less 6 to 8 weeks to see the full results from your new designer vagina.
It is most important that your vagina is allowed to heal without any activity.
After your 6 week review with the Doctor you will be given a set of dilators to slowly expand your vagina to the diameter you prefer.
Cost of Vaginoplasty
Vaginoplasty is $8,460.00. This cost covers all associated costs as well as your aftercare. You may be entitled to a Medicare rebate and also covered by private health insurance, if applicable.
