There are two main areas that are required to be addressed before performing gynaecomastia

  •  Fatty tissue – which is soft.
  •  Glandular tissue – which is firm and dense

Once this is determined either liposuction, or excision will be the preferred option.

Gynaecomastia which is predominantly fatty tissue, then liposuction can be performed option. Very small incisions are made, through which a cannula is inserted, local anaesthetic is infused and then the fat is sucked out.
